Common Difficulty: Unknown
The borderline fortress for each side of it's neighboring kingdoms: Fang, Daishin and Hades, each fort made differently to work against an invasion from those specific countries. Most have no idea how these work due to the hardened defenses and guards against spy networks. All that is known is the size of each fort.
Two-hundred and fifty feet wide and tall, the forts have watchtowers, night watch, and various other guards to protect against assault. Various ballistae and magic forged barricades and traps, the forts are just as lethal to fight at night as day, some still try to perform a night raid. There are rumors that there's a way to penetrate through, but only for the fort on the Fang's side. Where this information came from and whether or not it was true however, is all up to the one who hears the actual tale.

Rain sat inside of the fort, obviously waiting for the fight to continue. He was creating more of his Storm Clouds, up to ten now. Give a few hours or so and he could have a few hundred running around, but he wouldn't be fighting himself. That was alright though. If he was fighting along with them it would give the enemy a chance to cripple them all in one fell swoop. He was in the conference room since he was asked to attend by the commander of their small guerrilla type force, waiting to hear the plans that were to be laid out for the enemy's actual raid soon.

The plan was constantly being debated as Rain preoccupied himself, Isaac speaking up over them all to set the full plan into motion. They couldn't afford to make any mistakes or judgment calls on the enemy's strength after that last battle.
"We lost the first confrontation, but that's fine. So long as the enemy doesn't gain consecutive victories, we can just as easily provide a comeback. Right now, using the fort and our men fully stands as the best choice of action. If we trigger each of the traps as the enemy comes, we'll cripple them long enough to simply wade them out with magic and arrows. Our reinforcements will arrive within two hours. At that time, they should be either in the fort or waiting us out. When they arrive, we'll strike without mercy."
The plan was in all essence relatively useful. It had had no openings considering the amount of ways the fort could be used to guard assaults. They were in agreement then. Now, all they had to do was wait out the enemy. Their troops were in position, their weapons and skills ready. They would not lose the Fang Border Fortress of Symphony that easily.

So, the plan was set? Good. He didn't have anything to worry about then, continuing on his way. He had two hours to make as many of these guys as he could. That was more than enough time considering quickly he could make them. Two more forming before two more formed again after that. It would be time to begin soon enough to say the least, and he was far more than ready for it as well.

The two hours passed quickly, the word being sent out and the preparations being made. There was only one problem, Isaac looking to the man who had passed the message on to him. They were doing this sort of thing at this type of crucial timing?
"They're recalling me from the field? What are those idiots thinking at a time like this. Do they at least have a proper replacement for me when I take my leave?"
The man nodded, motioning to someone Isaac seemed to know. He grunted in return, looking to Andrew and Logan. They came with him obviously, the two making their leave first. He sighed, seeing that at least everything was taken care of. He doubted that the man they chose would stick entirely to the plan, since he planned to at least cover up their blind spot, even if it was a less than obvious one.
"Godspeed then men. Good luck on the battlefield."
Isaac took his leave then, the man in the shadows laughing to himself slightly then. Seemed as though he would get to enjoy himself just fine then with everything. He had already set up his own plans anyway. This war would at least give him a way to pass the time properly to say the least.

A sudden change in command was it? Would be a good call or a bad one? It wasn't his country or his place to question it. If it was his country, they wouldn't do a random switch. If he was a commander, it would be his place to question the change. It was neither of those things mentioned however, so it left the soldier with nothing to question or worry about. In the time given, he had mustered up well over eight hundred apparitions, something he was impressed with. They were all scattered about, each in a different form. Now they simply had to wait for the inevitable conflict to begin at last. They had enough of a break really.

*Zet stood outside of the fort, looking over the area. The rest of the troops were at the ready, but he wasn't certain how they would get in. Luke's estimates made for a rather rough fight ahead no matter how they looked at it. He wasn't worried about killing them all if it was just him, Luke and his mother along with that assassin. But, it would definitely be an issue keeping all of these troops alive plus making sure his mother didn't get hurt by the traps and such that lurked within.*
"Dammit. This is a pain in the ass."
*Luke decided that now was the time to address his mother on that other issue they were having, looking over to her. He wanted to convince her otherwise, but he had a feeling that she would go through with it no matter how he went about it or what he said on the matter. She was possibly why they were born to be so stubborn at times. She would be fine even if the troops weren't there, but he would make them stay as additional targets if she refused to change her mind regardless of what he said.*
"You seriously want us to just 'LET' you be in their line of fire? I know you can keep the men alive, but still."

As Zet contemplated on how to get in the easiest way, the attacks began. Or rather, they could tell it was about to begin. Lights starting to flash from various angles and areas of the fort before various blasts of magic shot forth. Fire, ice, lightning, all blasts shooting off at the troops and everyone that was their enemy at the time. Emilia had expected the attack to begin now, looking over to Luke with a smile. She normally would back down when it was her children making a request, but it was obvious that she had to do this. She refused to let one of them take up a task this dangerous.
"A ruler is nothing without his kingdom, a kingdom is nothing without its people. As such, a ruler must place their people before themselves. Only a good ruler would do this. Zet is going to take up the kingdom one of these days, and I have to make certain that everyone in it lives as long as possible. You need to make certain that he doesn't steer off onto the wrong path, Luke. The passage that leads into the fort rests on the left side of the fortress. Once there, you should be able to find a mechanism that will makes the traps run loose early. At that point, the counterattack can begin. I'm counting on you."
Zet would be out here with her a bit longer, so she had to make certain that Luke would do as she told him to. He was just as stubborn as her or Zet, but he at least would listen rather than be selfish until the end. That was why she entrusted this task onto him. Hopefully, he would simply do it without complaints. They didn't have any more time to waste after all. Arrows raining forth along with the blasts of magic to amplify the assault even further, it showed just how dire the situation they were in was. It was now or never, and Luke's decision could possibly turn the tide of this entire conflict.

*Luke clenched his fist and gritted his teeth. He couldn't help but be visibly upset by the truth after hearing it, but he would have to live with it, as always. Nodding his head slowly in return, Luke's eyes went over to where his mother had told him to head for. Guess he'd head over there as soon as possible then.*
"Zet, cover me."
*Zet, who was focused on evading fire and countering back with his own heard his brother's voice, looking back to him. Guess he had a plan. Whatever worked, he would say. Luke started off, Zet vanishing as four of himself stood in place, swiping their sword as a shock wave blasted off and crashed into magic and arrows alike, destroying them in turn. This was getting them nowhere fast, but it was helping out when it came to getting Luke somewhere. He had made it across the field relatively fast, making it to the left side of the fort as he drew his katana, slicing in an instant as the small human sized opening was made. Guess his father wasn't lying after all.*
"Here goes nothing then."
*Luke rushed inside, mindful of any enemies just in case. The mechanism apparently wasn't as far off as he expected, hearing the onslaught outside becoming worse and worse. If anything, Zet and his mother were the only reason they had men left, but they couldn't be forced on the defensive forever now. He had no idea how this blasted contraption worked, but he figured it was a easy thing to work with, punching the one button on it that stood out.*
"Hopefully this works..."
*Zet was continuously guarding attacks with his own attacks still. This was getting tiresome and annoying rather quickly. He was less tired compared to the average man, but he was irritated by how relentless they were and how they were making no progress at all. Hopefully Luke had accomplished something when he set off to wherever he planned to go. Otherwise he was going to storm the place regardless of the situation soon enough. He hated being stuck in these kinds of situations after all.*

Emilia smiled as Luke ran off, that was what she expected of her child. Now then, she just had to weather out the storm that was being sent at them. Drawing her own blade as she went to work, Zet's aid being invaluable this time for her as they both worked on keeping the attacks at bay. Amazingly with just the two of them, they were taking down a massive amount of the assault, only a few attacks here and there almost hitting them. Those were the ones that they would evade after that too, so all in all they were faring well. That was, until the enemy was deciding to kick it up a notch, even more portals for spells opening as even more started to fire loose. It was here that Luke's plan came into fruition, the mechanism triggering as light began to flash. The soldiers noticed what the light was, obviously disoriented when they realized what was about to happen.
"Wait, they aren't supposed to go off yet! Guaaaggh!!!"
Luke could hear various explosives, blasts, rays of light, and all other kinds of traps going off. Walking into here would have been a death trap otherwise. The troops were running about like crazy, trying to avoid being destroyed by their own equipment. It wasn't long before the front gate opened, apparently, one of the traps damaged it and opened it up on its own. With this, they could make a comeback at the least.

Though the average soldier was caught by the sudden influx of traps set off by Luke, more than causing a major loss of troops. He couldn't help but wonder if Isaac were here, would this have all been avoided? He supposed at this point it didn't matter. He had been more than prepared for this to happen. Suddenly from the gate and from the top of the fort, a thousand of Rain himself flooded forth. All of them began to glow suddenly, each being filled with air before they all exploded into a vibrant blast of air pressure, blasting out through the enemy ranks. No point in fighting them fairly when he could have them commence a kamikaze attack on the enemy like that. Now it just came down to finding their little lost rat that turned their defenses against them. Some troops survived plus their commander, so he could leave whoever made it in up to them while he found the other member who got through their defenses.

*And this was why Zet didn't like summoners. Especially ones that could make endless copies of the same kind of summon. Because often times when they knew they couldn't win, you could expect to get hit by a kamikaze attack. This however, was a rather large scale kamikaze. A thousand copies all exploding at once didn't mean any sort of good for them. On the other hand, he knew he could get out of it alright. He knew his mother would fuss at him if he tried to help her instead of avoiding it too. He would rather get yelled at, but he figured she would say she got out alright too and in the time he was thinking it over, he'd get hit. He'd just let instincts guide him from here then, jumping forward in an angle before bringing his sword down in one fell swoop, cutting through part of the air explosion and landing inside of the fort from the open gate, avoiding the rest that was sent out as he rolled along the ground, catching himself as he held his sword in one hand, the other used to catch himself. He looked back, hoping that everyone, or particularly his mother got out alright. Luke heard the explosion too, deciding it was time to move out as he headed through the fort then too. They would take it down from two separate fronts. Just after the explosion ravaged the area, Lucia made it in the area, looking around to compare the damage. How had things gone in her absence?*

Emilia had to admit, their summoner was a bit of an annoyance. Seeing how massive the kamikaze was, evading the explosion entirely would cost them more than simply blocking it out for most of them. She knew Zet would have to evade it entirely, though she would guard the men since someone had to. Seeing him hesitant let her know that he was considering not doing it since he wanted to help her with the blast too, but she smiled to herself. She at least didn't have to worry about him when it came to making decisions sometimes. Now then, how to deal with this blast.
"Everyone, get as far back as you possibly can! I'll handle this."
The troops scurried backward in a hurry, mostly trying to escape the imminent routing that would happen from that kind of blast. Emilia drawing her sword again, walking forward as they went past her. Breathing in and out briefly, she gazed toward the incoming blast before she swiped her sword, her blade rending through the air itself. The Fang members truly were something else in battle, that much was obvious. Not all of the troops got out unscathed, getting hit by the inertia force left behind from the blast. They all lived, just got injured here and there. She would have to make sure nothing happened to them, looking back as she noticed Lucia in the area.
"Could you be so kind as to go after those two? They're both in the fortress now. I'll hold our ground here in case anything else comes up."

Sounded as though more than he would have liked made it out alright just then. He heard the air be ripped into, the sound being rather horrid if one could pick it up. It didn't matter though, summoning a few more as he made them probe the area. Time to see if he could find his little rat after all. Leaving one Storm Fiend behind with their commander, knowing that more than likely Zet would show up there. After all, he seemed prone to coming at this sort of time to fight their commander. He just had to figure out where they were located. They still had the advantage of possibly ambushing him at the least.

*Lucia had to admit, Emilia was someone to be feared on the battlefield. It was difficult enough hitting her, but just then proved that she could even protect her own men if required. So far, it made certain that them losing massive casualties due to an event like what happened was near impossible to accomplish. She didn't want to leave her by herself to look after all of these men, but she supposed Emilia would only worry more if she chose to stay behind, nodding in return.*
"Alright. We will all return shortly then."
*Lucia as always, moved with her usual stealth. Vanishing even though she was right in front of the eyes of so many. Few could keep up with her movement obviously when she could simply perform it so easily. Zet moving on and through the fort, trying to find his way to where he wanted to go. Of course, it was a pain in the rear to actually find it that easily. Of course to find the command room, you usually just had to look for the room that looked the most fancy. Most idiots actually stayed in there after all during these kinds of events. Luke found himself making his way there easily enough, having a general idea of how the place was set up after his previous findings. Spying Rain on his way however, was something he wasn't expecting to happen. The summoner was a pain to fight on his own, especially since unlike Lucia and Zet, he had no way to fight both the summoner and his apparitions. Since when did that stop them however?*

Emilia nodded, watching Lucia leave. It was good that she left after all. Adding one more person to the list of people she had to protect right now wouldn't help her at all. Eyes going to her left, a small smile coming to her face. Seemed as though she would have to focus on protecting them even sooner than she first imagined. "And to what pleasure do I owe this meeting, 'Hungry Wolf'?"A wolf that was on all fours stood before her, being 5 feet tall despite being on all fours, having completely purple fur. Eyes of jade that seemed to sneer at her words. Seemed as though she had herself some a rather interesting Lecross to run into right now. If not for the others she had to make sure wouldn't get gnawed, this would be easy. Guess she would have to go to work regardless then. Drawing her sword as he drew closer, she wouldn't back down at this point. "I suppose you not talking should have been anticipated. Alright then, let's get this over and done with."Rain and Luke seemed to have more issues, being lunged at suddenly by two wolves as well. Seemed as though their spat with one another would have to be on hold for now, at least until they were done with this rather sudden ambush on their part. Just what was going on here all of a sudden? [Stalking Menace] That left Zet with his free reign, actually finding the room where the commander was. Lucia right behind him more than likely. The man standing in the room had no shirt, having on white loose pants with several belts around the waist, two swords resting on either side of himself in golden scabbards. Having all silver hair that reached to the middle of his back in a ponytail, a patch over his left eye, only the right eye being covered by his hair. Both would recognize the individual. After all, he was someone of importance to the Kingdom of Hades. The Carnage Lord, Glen. "What a fancy pleasure, meeting you here. I suppose it wasn't such a bad idea to take the reigns here after all."
