*Zet raised a brow, a smirk coming to his face as he voiced out a slightly surprised 'oh?'. Well now, this had come as a surprise. A second emissary of the Hades Kingdom, save fighting for the Claw instead of the Fang? Were they that desperate in determining the difference in power of the two kingdoms? Even he had to admit, that was some good determination. Lucia seemed just as surprised, eyes widening in shock briefly before their usual void of all returned, she seemed to be in this state as her generally neutral self.*
"Glen. What are you doing here? Taking the reins....did you do something outside of our rules and orders yet again? Even if you are the Carnage Lord, punishment will be given in an ample setting should this be true."
*Seemed as though some saw fit to make their own decisions. That was fine in Zet's opinions, save for the fact that it gave him more enemies to deal with. That part he could do without in all honesty, but it wouldn't be interesting if he wasn't met with by actually powerful foes. It sucked in the case of their kingdom, but today the assassins would be losing one of their better ranked men if he could take him out here and now.*
"Where's the commander of this fortress? I doubt they would've made you it so easily unless you pulled some strings. If you're the commander, this becomes all that much easier."

The man chuckled in response. Needless to say, he was easily amused by the thoughts and words of both there. He had earned his name for a reason after all. Suppose he should just cut straight to the chase then and stop with the senseless banter.
"I always do whatever I want, whenever I want. Getting a chance to kill the 'Shadow' and the 'Fang' at the same time? Who would pass that up really? I'm the commander here after all. I could care less for the Fort though."
The two swords flashed, the Storm Fiend in the room being ripped apart instantly. Letting his arms rest by his side, chuckling slightly before a grin came to his face. This wouldn't be a waste of time after all if they were both fighting him. Maybe he would even be gifted with the legendary thing known as...a 'challenge'.
"Come at me whenever you're ready."

*Zet held his sword level with his target given that his words made things that much easier on him. All he had to do now was remove this guy and the fort was as good as theirs. Then they could continue their progress and get a move on with this damnable war already. It was already taking too long in fact in his opinion actually.*
"Good, we're in agreement then. This 'Fang' though will make sure that it digs deep enough to run you dry. Show me why you're the so called 'Carnage Lord'."
*Lucia didn't have the need to show her weapon to her opponent outright. She wasn't taught in such a manner either, trained to keep her weapon concealed until the moment of the actual strike. She couldn't believe just how unreasonable Glen could be, but that wouldn't stop her from fighting him. He may have been the one assessing the state in the Claw as she was the Fang, but he was obviously doing so for his own wants as always.*
"The time for talk is over then. Prepare yourself, Carnage Lord of Hades, Glen."

There was no reason to waste time then. They would get to see, to understand why he was called the Carnage Lord. Well, no. It wouldn't be fun if he just did that outright. He'd savor it for as long as possible. Even if that meant he'd have to take his time for a while. [Foolish Pawns of the Flame]

He was certainly glad that was over, eyes going over to meet Luke next. He knew that he had to be up next on the list of hunts otherwise he would have failed his duty here. But given that the Storm Fiend had been destroyed: by Glen no less, he had no way of knowing whether or not it was a failed endeavor to pursue or not. He would back down for now at least, slowly stepping back before jumping off. Better to make room for a fight another day than to die shamelessly and pointlessly after all.

*Luke was glad that he wasn't bum-rushed by Rain now too. The man made a tough opponent for just himself even if he was a capable fighter. But if he left then that must have meant that Zet and Lucia were successful on their end. That was more good news after all given that the fort of such difficulty would be theirs finally and they could proceed with the offensive.*
"Good work, Lucia, Brother."
*The Carnage Lord....he lived up to his name at the very least. Such a pain in the ass to fight, but they had come up on top without a doubt. Zet swiped his sword one last time, sending out a rippling blast of destruction from just the air and shock of the attack, blasting the Carnage Lord and about half of the room. Lucia said nothing, more waiting to see if Glen could take some more punishment. He had willingly fought them, especially knowing who they were. That meant that he was an enemy, even if he was possibly sent to handle things on the Tilberius end.*

The man raised both swords, taking the attack before he was blasted off and out of the room, the destructive cloud of dust bursting outward from it. Everything seemed to be cleared up now, but there was no body behind the destruction. The Carnage Lord had no doubt managed to survive just now, and likely had retreated to go along with it. All was taken in silence right now, as victory was silently being celebrated. With this push, they had managed to make a large sum of progress in their campaign finally. Now they would need to press the attack once they recovered from this battle, like all other times of course.

"So he lives... I guess that's fine for now. What about you?"
*Zet looked to Lucia, who looked like she had doubts about letting him go now. It wasn't surprising, as he was someone who used to be on her side and tried to attack her and strike her down. He wouldn't let anyone on his side try and kill him and live to tell the tale. Well, it depended on why they tried to in the end as he didn't want to just get rid of them without figuring out why. And then if it was some unreasonable reason he would see the deed done.*
"It's alright. The Carnage Lord isn't someone to surrender that easily. I'll handle it another time."
*He nodded. It was her problem, but he would help so long as Glen was an obstacle too. And he obviously was one now so long as he worked for the enemy like he was right now, even if they were only doing things so they knew which choice was the winning choice. He started heading back, knowing Lucia would follow as they had nothing else to do here. The troops would handle the rest for now. Luke on the other hand had already made it outside of the place.*
"How's the situation out here? Is Mother alright?"

The troops had gone to work already, but there were a few surveying the battlefield that caught wind of Luke's words. They hesitated to answer him, though someone answered him instead. A weak voice spoke up to meet with Luke's questions at the time.
"The... situation's fine. Although your mother... may have messed up a little bit."
Sitting on the ground and leaning against the outside wall of the fortress was Emilia. She was looking at Luke with a smile on her face, but a weak one... and blood was on her face too. Her left hand held her sword, but her right was on her stomach where her clothing was dyed in red. Some of the blood looked to be her own, while some of it also appeared to be from whoever she had fought. It was clear that the person had escaped, a trail of blood led to where they fled to. She had more injuries, but it seemed as though the one to her abdomen was the worst of them. She winced at speaking, although she tried to make it out like the wounds weren't as serious as they were.
"It's just... a flesh wound. I... blundered is all. You all did well in today."

*Luke looked in the direction where the voice came from, recognizing it and initially counting it as fatigue. That obviously was the wrong thing to count it as, seeing her condition after all. His eyes widened, rushing over to her side.*
"Mother?! What the hell happened out here?!"
*That was more than a flesh wound. Their mother wasn't someone to take these kinds of injuries in a fight, not when she was as skilled as she was. Not to mention the fact of actually seeing her in this condition with her skills aside. This happened because they let her handle this side of the front while they worked on the inside instead of one of them sticking around to help her out. This was more than just a blunder, and it would have been nice if only he had to see it.*
"What's the commotion for, brother? Sure doesn't sound like you're celebrating out here."
*Lucia had come out first and had noticed, but didn't say anything so she wouldn't alert him. She knew it wouldn't help, as when Zet came out his eyes widened anyway once he caught sight of the predicament. He would have mirrored Luke's own words had he not heard his brother exclaim them already. So he didn't say that and instead let himself walk over there slowly, kneeling down beside his mother. She would live so long as she didn't push herself, that much he could tell anyway. He stood back up, looking to the nearby soldiers who had remained silent before.*
"I can see that the one who did this escaped with their life, though they appear to be wounded just as well. Who did it and where did they go?"
