*It wouldn't even take him long to tear through the rank and file. The more difficult part would simply be making the deaths of the individuals when they were discovered look egregious on their origins. This could be simply fixed by how they died, something he would be seeing to while all was obscured in the blizzard as he moved, cutting through them as explosions of force and ice devastated through with the sword strikes. It would be easy enough to assume the work of weaponry killed them, but the rest would probably appear as if it was performed by magic save for those who would investigate further. That was also left to certain mages as well, so it would be some time before it was fully ascertained unless someone was already observing the area unnoticed. Either way, this step was taken care of and now was making way for the capital once the final touches were made.*

Try as they might, even if they had used their abilities to their utmost was there no hope against the enemy before them. They were mowed down altogether and allowed for the Fang Forces to make their way through unimpeded and cut off any chance of the reports as they cut down all the forces, be they of the Wisdom's defenses or innocent bystanders who were simply passing through. Moving on, they would be able to reach the capital in the night and would be ready for the next day now that things had settled down. It would be some time before the report made it back to others, either by more passerbys or by a shift in the guard because of the missing report due to their sudden demise.
