*This would be a bit more difficult than the last time. It was about time to make ends meet in that regard then, calling forth the blizzard as it enveloped the battlefield, his sword carving through it to strike at the masses both with explosions and icy strikes alike. Luke would weave through again, aiming to strike down one of the riders in a hurry. The goal now was to see this done before Lucia was finished on her end. She would need some time, and it was their job to induce as much havoc on their end to divert more forces and their attention before they caught on to the fact they were under attack within as well. Or, if that failed, to kill the resistance here swiftly and use the confusion in the ranks to break through in a full force assault instead.*

The Fang's offensive was great to say little of it, but none of the combatants had been felled just yet. They had their priorities, aiming to strike down the one who had caused the great storm about them while they would divert as little attention as possible to the other to bring him down before he was a deeper factor in the battle. They would have the upper hand soon and then press that advantage until they claimed victory over the brothers in this bout.

*The advanced combatants knew what was up when it came to tactics. If anything, their only flaw was trying to strike and not expecting them to retaliate in kind. Zet was on it as they approached, swinging his sword to buffet them in a storm of explosions that they would need to survive in order to strike them down. This would wear them down enough for him to begin parrying the encroaching assault, blade moving deftly in hand to time and again meet attack after attack and brush them aside. Others would miss due to the storm that continued, starting to cease at this point. Luke had almost not been as lucky if not for Zet going out of his way to fell the enemies that came their way, taking several blows as they were just shy of leaving him down once again. It was a poor showing to be sure given this battle was far from over and realistically he would have to withdraw soon, but for now he would swallow his disappointment and focus on the attack again, striking once at one of the fiercer riders while his assault continued unabated against another. From here on out, the fight would solely be in their favor. They could ride this wave until the battle was over.*

Their formation was broken apart by the swift action Zet took, causing it to go into further collapse once Luke was set loose as well. Their goal now was trying to fix the formation and strike back, working on accomplishing that while continuing their attack against the brothers.

*It had been a close shave for a second there, but the winds had turned in their favor. They wouldn't let this chance slip through their fingers and would press the attack straight away, continuing their pace though slightly slowed as opposed to last time thanks to the usual antics of the riders. That would be alleviated shortly, and when it was, they would apply further pressure. More than likely the battle would simply be over then as well, something that was good for them as taking down part of the advance regiment meant that they had accomplished their goal while Lucia did hers.*

Their tactics had afforded them a solid victory in a crucial phase of the battle, allowing them to turn the tides yet again as Lucia would set out to access the mechanism that would open the gate and further as they kept the other enemies distracted. The battle was still in the favor of the Fang now, though in the distance a low rumbling could be heard. Was it the signs of an earthquake? The ground was beginning to shake as well, the light tremors not enough to disorient those in the heat of battle but enough for the keener individuals to notice it.
