*This was more their pace now, Zet turning his sword in hand as before when there were multiple enemies as he lashed out, the explosive strikes striking all that were present. It didn't end there as the explosions froze, erupting again as the shards coated his form for protection while striking his enemies. Luke would move in through the mayhem, breathing in as he started his own motions. The first was a powerful blow as a black aura coated him, followed by another far more punishing one that came from above and then another that dashed through the target. It was soon followed up yet again by a sudden strike again, before he sheathed his blade, almost seeming transparent as attacks without a specific focus would no longer be able to touch him at this time. His blows would grow stronger still, as he was one of the few who also knew how to take one defensive advantage and turn it into an offensive one just as these defenders no doubt sought to do the same.*

'She would cast the knife upward, a brief shadow passing by them as they were struck multiple times. This seemed relatively harmless at first, but a crimson veil coated her for but a moment. That moment of scarlet was all she needed as the second barrage of blades would fall, far more piercing than the first while the third wave would surpass the second, aiming to cut through the swath without issue. This way as well would allow her to bypass their defenders from covering one another, aiming for a swift and sure finish while there were still multiple targets to be had. And that was when she was at her best, as she could use her ability across them all to amplify herself accordingly.'

The bombardment from the Fang's side was remarkable to say the least, but not quite enough to stave off the forces in front of them. Weakened though from it all, the venoms cast upon them would hinder their offense while also bringing them to their graves sooner. This didn't stop them from lashing out, as the riders would swoop in to strike with their lances as the magic from the plains was cast again, but to much lesser effect now that the venom was in effect. The defenders would move out too, aiming to try and rectify the source of the problems by assaulting the young woman who had cast the rain of blades upon them.

*It looked like they were focusing on Lucia this time. It made sense given how influential she was to their lineup, though they would be able to weather the storm now too. First, they would end the weakened ones, Zet redoubling those efforts while Luke went toward the next Defender to further weaken him. If this was done well then they would start chipping away at them next and seeing that this first battle ended in their favor. The goal of this siege was to end it in a rush, leaving no room for a counter. It was a rarity in a siege, but not impossible with the momentum they had built up from the battle at Rechazo.*

'It wasn't exactly a good thing to serve as the center of attention with her expertise, but she supposed she would have to settle for that right now. With the influence that was cast upon them, she would be able to pass through their ranks well enough provided she did so with finesse, something that had been honed and beaten into her rigorously in the past. The thrusts came first, weaving past those with ease as they would follow with other attacks as well, the rends and pierces being a bit more problematic instead. She would weather those with some wear and tear from the damage caused, breathing out once as the magic came next. Their focus was in tatters and so the effects were largely mitigated, simply serving to drench instead and make the situation more hazardous from the snowstorm they had caused earlier. Next were the defenders, who left hardly any room to move with their massive shields to serve as walls and getting in her way as they charged, being pinned from all sides as they started smashing with the shield backed by their countered force. It got a bit dangerous during this juncture, but around the end of it she seized her chance to get out by going over them as she cast down the rain of blades before landing. Their maledictions still served to allow her to stay in the fight, bolting for the one that Luke singled out as the light passed by in a flurry of swift blows as she tore through the person, stopping early as she was weighed down thanks to the assault from the riders previous.'

The continued attack laid low those who weren't the designated defenders. They were still standing but were reaching their limits as well. They would unite to make up for it, raising their tower shields and directing them toward the general who led this charge in Zet as they released a mighty ray of light based upon the harm they had taken and recovered from during it all to strike back against those that were left. The goal was to finish him off before the venoms did that to them instead, but how successful that was would yet to be seen as well.

*Looked like they were shifting focus now and turning it his way. The attacks were oppressive to say the least as he raised his sword to meet them, fending off most of the attacks except for the mightiest of blows as those pushed him back. The blizzard began to swirl from him as a result, now planning to up the assault now that things had reached a more pivotal mark in the battle as his strike engulfed them and Luke vanished inside of the blizzard to assail the next, the combination intended to bring this stage of the battle to its inevitable conclusion.*

'They shifted focus it appeared on Zet instead. That would leave her with the ability to act freely still, setting her sights on Luke after Zet did his counteroffensive. She would follow his lead in order to best navigate the blizzard and assail their enemies within, doing just that as she moved in and struck with the same corrupted light as before time and again with the intent to finish off one and at least weaken or do the same to another.'

The blizzard engulfed them as the Fang's heir assailed them, followed by the others as the defenders started falling one by one. Half of them remained, and while they would want to aim for the elder of the brothers, he was using the blizzard to his advantage just as the woman was to veil themselves and strike. That left the source as the only one they could truly aim for, focusing their attentions that way and sending forth their attack in Zet's direction once more.

The blizzard enveloped those that opposed, freezing them solid before they were taken apart by the following attacks. The battle had been won, and the next wave of combatants would soon be upon them. They would have time to further mount their attack, as their goal was likely to get the opening so that the main army could advance alongside them. With their current momentum, that should be a feasible goal for the advance force that was the assassin and two heirs.
