*So far, the fight was entirely evenly matched. No...they were losing ever so slightly until Isaac had made the decision to save his men rather than guard himself like he should have. If he hadn't done that, they'd be on the end that was more worn down. The fight wasn't over quite yet however, both sides worn to their limits almost. Luke was down on both knees, using his sheathed blade to keep him up barely, tired and worn down from the shot he took for Zet. Lucia was down to one knee, breathing heavily after being assaulted by Isaac's strikes. Zet was standing straight, holding his blade in one hand while letting his other rest by his side, almost as worn down as the rest.*
"I have to actually give you credit. For someone from the Claw, you're not half bad. Your men might be slowing you down more than actually helping though possibly."

The three from the Claw were also worn down. Andrew's steed was slowing down, the rider himself breathing heavily. His longsword still in hand and prepared for use, but overall he felt that things were coming to a close soon. Logan was the last to be hit, skidding back and dropping to a knee, his tome sparking with lightning. Seemed as though they would have to push back even harder now. Isaac was the oddest of them all, using two hexashields, both having blades coming from each point with a long blade coming from the top of it, mostly the only part used for offense. And it too was used for defense.
"You're truly a Scion of the Fang's name. My subordinates far from slow me down however. I'm afraid however, that we'll need to finish this at a later date. Andrew, Logan."
Logan jumped on to Andrew's steed, the two flying off right after. Isaac could see Emilia closing in. Seems as though the Fang had sent one of their primary weapons, and it wasn't one he could contest with. Jumping back, tossing something in the air before a flash of light blasted out. The signal for the retreat. Isaac vanishing as the light went off. Whoever managed to escape would likely head for the fort, but could the same be said about these three?

The sign to retreat....meant it was time to move on then. Rain was near leaving the battlefield already, letting his apparitions handle the fighting on his part for a time. Jumping off of the field and leaving, the creations faded into air. Seemed as though it was time to move on to the next phase.

*Zet couldn't help but feel like the man was lying in his own way. Had he not guarded for the one called Logan, then he would've had them on the run rather than what happened now. Either way, he supposed the outcome would've became the same irregardless. Looking back as he noticed his mother, a smile coming to his face. Luke pushed himself up, stumbling slightly before he shook it off. He'd need to visit their healer proper before he was good to go again, Lucia standing up in full, seemingly in better shape than Luke was. He felt kind of bad on this fact, but it was more that she was better at hiding it than he was. They had claimed this day, Zet raising his sword up as a sign for the men as their rallied cries howled across the fields. Luke looked to one of the soldiers, speaking to him right after.*
"Go and give me an estimate on the losses for both sides. It was nearly even numbers, a thousand to their thousand two hundred."
*Lucia's eyes were on both Luke and Zet. Neither were bad when it came to the field of battle, simply following the best formation possible that they would make up on the fly. She was here specifically for one of them, but monitoring those that he kept as company in its own way was also important. She looked over to where Zet had looked right when the battle had ended, noticing the woman in the distance. Was it someone they knew? She supposed she would simply have to wait and see.*

The soldier nodded, heading off across the field. This was his specialty, so he would be back soon. Seeing as the conflict had died down now, the Claw front retreating at last gave them time for a breather. Emilia came up to the now group of three, smiling toward Lucia mysteriously enough before she looked to her two children. She had a feeling that despite them reassuring her, they'd come out of it pretty lucky.
"Are you all alright? Make sure to visit Skai before heading into the next battle."
Despite her words, Emilia was looking over Luke and Zet already, looking over Lucia right after. Seemed as though Luke and Lucia were in the worst shape, Zet having come out relatively alright, just worn down from the conflict. She was glad that they had come out fine in the end, even if they were somewhat injured in the fight.

*Lucia couldn't help but show some emotion at Emilia's actions, blinking in confusion. The woman felt familiar, that much was certain enough. But from where was what she was wondering right now. Apparently it wasn't just a feeling either considering the reaction she had just received. Zet smiled to his mother despite his injuries, mainly to reassure again. As usual, he felt alright even after getting into a difficult fight.*
"I'm just fine, mother. I'll make sure to have her work on me though. Same for Luke."
*Zet glanced Luke's way, Luke grunting at the gesture. He knew why Zet had wanted him to come. And the whole time, Luke felt more annoyed at the situation than his younger brother did. Regardless however, he'd let it slide and just go along with it. Luke nodding to his mother, mostly assuring that he'd do what Zet had said.*
"I'll live to say the least. The enemy general and his personal guard put up a better fight than anticipated. I'll make certain we're both more careful in the future."
*Seemed as though this was their mother. Interesting enough that she and both of her children were out on the field of battle. Lucia didn't comment on it though, seeing as it was too late to even bother judging the fact. Hopefully nothing went wrong during this war that involved the family here right now.*

Emilia walked over to the two, patting both on the shoulder. They had done a good job coming out of it alive, and that was what mattered first and foremost. As much as she would have liked to see them return in perfect condition, that was asking a tad bit much when it was a war they were fighting and they were on the front lines.
"Don't give her too much trouble now. She is our only medic out here that's fully reliable you know."
Letting them go, she knew that the soldier would return shortly, seeing the man returning now at that. She'd leave it at that for now, walking over to the third one of their small raiding group with a small smile on her face. She spoke so that only Lucia could hear, mostly so that the other two wouldn't go into a questioning spree to prolong their actual leave.
"Lucia of the Shadows, am I correct? The Hades Kingdom is trying to decide whether or not they should stick their necks out and make us owe them one I suppose? It is nice to have your aid regardless however."
Meanwhile, the soldier spoke up to Luke, giving a salute before handing out his report. It hadn't taken long at all once they pooled together their work force and went to business after all. It just took them a bit to get a full estimate of the enemy's full force.
"After the men counted, the enemy came here today with a wave of 2500 to our 1450 men. We lost exactly 450, but they lost a small few over 2000 due to Lady Emilia's aid on the battlefield. This puts us at 1000 to their 480 some odd men, sir!"

*Zet nodded to their mother, he and Luke both heading off. He really didn't want to bother with this, but he'd do it just for the sake of being told to. Listening to the soldier as they continued on their way, near their camp now after a bit of a trek across the field again. Their mother always did astonish them on how fearsome she could be to enemies. She had done that just by herself in a rather crazy feat.*
"So a thousand to a tad under five hundred? That's a relatively easy scenario to play out on the battlefield then if not for some key issues. For one, they have that odd summoner of theirs to create air apparitions of themselves, along with the fact that they'll be holed up in their own playing field, the fort next time. If we factor in them getting some reinforcements, we can judge it at about a thousand to a thousand five hundred."
*That put them at a disadvantage. In terms of numbers, they could best them with their men. However, in terms of an unknown turf and enemy numbers, they were at a disadvantage. They could assault the fort now, but then if the reinforcements arrived during their raid, they would be routed for certain. Zet decided on the situation easily with those in mind. They were back at the camp now when Zet spoke up on his plan of action.*
"I know already Luke. We'll wait for the enemy to gain their reinforcements, then we'll raid the fort. That's the best way to go about it after all. We'll move out in three hours then."
*Three hours, that should be plenty of time for the forces to arrive. Then they'd have to tear through them all with no mercy. Simple as that. Lucia didn't know whether or not she should return the smile, seeing as Emilia had picked her out easily. Seemed as though someone in the forces was more talented and knowledgeable than the ones actually leading, something that helped in it's own way it seemed. She was thankful that the subject was kept under wraps however, nodding to Emilia. They were alone now at the very least.*
"You would be correct. Ms.Emilia of the Fang, it is an honor to meet you. Both of your sons are remarkable on the field of battle, judging their opponents and situations amply regardless of their standing. I however cannot pass judgment on the matter for now from this alone. I want to take in more than simply their prowess on the field, considering that going by that alone, it could in its own way prove a disaster."

The soldier nodded, heading out to inform the rest of the men. It was only a matter of time then before the Fang would stand triumphant over a fort that has stood in their way for countless years now. Zet and Luke having returned, they saw Skai having finished tending to their regular men, the light surrounding her hands fading as she looked toward the two. She gave a glare to Luke initially, only the man in question knowing why likely before the look turned back to her usual relaxed look, smiling toward Zet. The healing effects had already taken place for Luke, which meant he could leave at this point, having done it in the time she was glaring at him. Goes to show that she was actually good at it.
"I'm glad to see you've returned safely to us. How did the battle fare?"
The smile on Emilia's face remained, walking over to Lucia fully before she placed her hand on the younger lady's head. Lucia was actually taller than Emilia by an inch or two, but in terms of age there was a fairly large gap. Rubbing her head a bit after, not messing up her hair in the slightest either. Her skill went a long way and to various other fields apparently.
"No need to be so formal. After all, we're in this together now. I know my children can be a tad bit reckless, but I hope that you'll judge them fairly and impartially to your own accord. I'll hope to get to know you better too on more than simply those terms. You're far more reserved than I was first expecting."

*Luke returned the glare to Skai, a scoff coming after. This woman and he never did see eye to eye whenever they saw one another. She just irritated him among other things. He was healed at least, and that was what mattered most he supposed for now. He was petty enough to go on about it at the moment, Zet simply sighing. Why did he have to put up with this every single time? He avoided injury just because of it in truth.*
"Of course I returned safely. Quit talking and focus more on the healing. I have a schedule to keep after all."
*Lucia couldn't help but be confused by the woman she was talking to, but nodded regardless. Maybe it was a mother sort of thing? She would have to get used to it in general actually considering what she was used to seeing or dealing with. Which at this point obviously wasn't the nature Emilia had.*
"They gave me an extended leave, so I believe that it will be some time before I have to return with any kind of report. I will do my best to meet up to their expectations in that time."
*At this point, she realized that she was likely still being too formal. It didn't help really that at this point it was sort of embedded into her being to just act this way. Eyes looking to the side briefly before looking back to Emilia again.*
"I will also make an effort to fix this as well."

As always, Zet took the more rough approach. Of course, he usually was worse than this, so he at least was keeping his word...in a way. Unlike before however, Skai didn't glare at Zet for his words, nodding to him before she did as he said. The healing wave rushed over him, mending his injuries relatively close to an instant. It would explain why they kept her around regardless of how much they protested more than likely.
Emilia couldn't help but rub Lucia's head some more. She was trying her best at least, and that was what mattered most. Though it did present for it's form of cute moments when she tried. It would be rather fun having her around for a while then. Especially since she wasn't one of those entirely strict watchers that were usually sent around. Maybe she was, but they way they were acting around her baffled the young assassin? Either way didn't particularly matter she supposed right now.
"I'm sure it won't go to waste. Besides, we have plenty of time if that man gave you an extended leave. We have a bit of time before we head out, but make sure to visit Skai too before we move out. After all, you're more than likely hurting from that fight as well."
Emilia stopped rubbing her hand then, patting Lucia on the back to more emphasize the point. She was better at telling this kind of thing than her sons, that much was obvious. Then again, they probably didn't pay enough attention to this kind of thing anyway in all honesty.

*Lucia couldn't help but nod in return. She supposed there was no hiding anything from Emilia really, though the pat did hurt a bit just then. She wouldn't show that either though, thinking over how much time they had left to move out. She would get herself accustomed to everything first before she went back for the recovery deal.*
*Of course, getting yourself accustomed to the place and everything and waiting until there was only five minutes left were two entirely different situations. Lucia had gotten lost off in checking out everything else that she had almost completely forgotten to go and check with Skai until it was time for them to move out shortly. The group was moving out, but she would catch up with them soon enough. For now, she'd make it her priority to find the healer. Zet and Luke were getting ready too, Zet going off to the front to get a scope of the enemy's defenses. Luke was with his mother this time, summing up the situation at hand.*
"If we assume that the summoner created plenty of false soldiers, we can put their numbers from anywhere to 2,300 to 2,500. He really is a pain to deal with. Attacking the fort head on isn't going to get us anywhere really."
*Lucia found herself grateful on the fact that she spent too much time checking out everything and everyone. She figured out where to go quickly enough for it to not make a major difference on how to find Skai, the healer usually designated in a area that wouldn't be caught up in the fight usually. At this point, it meant the small camp they had forged on the way there as a intermission between the fort and the actual main camp. Looking around the area, it shouldn't pose much of a problem to find her from here then. She could easily catch back up to the main advance force afterward.*

Emilia nodded to Luke's words. If the summoner could forge them as quickly as they said, then it was by no means a false estimate to judge their numbers about that high. Well, the numbers weren't really something she couldn't handle. They'd need a lot more than that to stop her, but that was why they had chosen the fort as their playground. Unless they could get past everything set up in there, the numbers wouldn't matter at all.
"We'll have to trust the information that your father gave us then about the fort. There should be an opening we can use to get around our current situation. But, some of the troops would have to stall for time, and against the onslaught that they'll be outputting, there's no way just the troops alone would manage it by themselves."
Lucia didn't have much trouble finding Skai. After all, she definitely stood out compared to everyone else that was around the camp. She was staring off into space, thinking about something else obviously. Possibly the upcoming battle considering the type of scale it was going to be on.

*Luke knew where she was going with her words. He didn't say anything about it just yet however. He would let it slide for now until they got to where they were headed to. The information that she spoke of came from his father? Well, he had no real reason to doubt it then, but it just seemed reckless to try that sort of strategy. He refused to put her in harm's way as a general course of action, even if it was the best course of action.* [Location Change] *The others would be near the fort soon. The real fight would begin as soon as they made their attempt at entering the structure. Skai looked as though she was in thought, Lucia could easily tell that from how distracted she was. That wasn't a good thing to do when you were this close to the enemy's front line. If they lost the battle, they would be pushed back and ultimately routed. Maybe she was just certain that they would win the conflict? Lucia walked over to her, speaking with her usual tone of voice.* "Excuse me. M--Emilia sent me to you for after the battle against the enemy ranks here."*She was about to call her Miss Fenril again. She remembered that Emilia had told her to stop being so formal, but it was a particularly hard task to accomplish in the end still considering it was just how she was in general.*

Skai's train of thought was pushed aside, looking over to Lucia as she spoke. The young lady seemed rather reserved, though she didn't recognize her at first either. Though after a few moments, the memory came to mind. Why was she here however? She wouldn't question it however if Emilia sent her, a smile coming to her face.
"I see. You helped out in the battle then? You're good at hiding your injuries too, I can barely tell that you had any lasting damage from it."
She could tell just faintly even though she didn't know Lucia. Pushing off of the rock she sat on and raising her hand, the light flowing from them and onto Lucia as the injuries took care of themselves. It looked so easy whenever Skai did it, some wondered how she was so good at this yet so young.
"Thanks for that. Can you make sure that Zet makes it out alright too?"

*Lucia could feel her injuries healing. She had to admit, that was an impressive ability. Without so much as touching the person, Skai could heal her injuries perfectly fine. Both her and Emilia could tell that she was hurt, something that she was trained to hide no less so as to show no weakness. Then again she never was particularly good at that sort of thing. She nodded to Skai's words as she finished, flexing her hand underneath her cloak to make sure she was ready to go and assist them once more.* "I extend my thanks to you as well. The previous battle wasn't particularly difficult, but I will do my best to make sure he comes back alright."*She would look after Luke too, along with Emilia. It was odd how she felt like looking out for them when in all truth she was simply here to see if they had some merit. Perhaps this was why....no. It didn't do her any sort of good to be thinking about the past right now. Fading from sight, it was time to go and meet the enemy on the battlefield.* [Location Change]
